Crunch Time: Motil for Mayor Events, Sullivant Avenue Block Party

AN UPDATE FROM JOE

Hi everyone,

It's crunch time! The election is 13 days away and my opponent is feeling the heat. He has been holding photo ops for city projects like the new Sports Complex and Crime Center, both of which are not scheduled to begin construction until the Spring of 2024 and late 2025.

His dishonest and desperate attempts while trying to discredit me with his TV ads and mailers have blown up in his face. He also had to beg local democratic officeholders to hold an event the other day giving him their endorsement. One elected official went as far as calling him a "fighter for freedom". Joyce Beatty claimed, "you need someone who cares about all communities."

His polling numbers must clearly show he is in trouble. So it's time to turn up the heat.

There is a Sullivant Avenue Block and Bridge Party being held tomorrow from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the corner of Martha Avenue and Sullivant Avenue. Ginther will most likely be there because he knows the west side is in my camp and he needs to make an appearance. Only at election time of course.

If you can attend and have a Motil for Mayor tee shirt please wear it. We can even hand out literature. As you know, he has been avoiding me at all costs.

I am also planning on holding a Press Conference Thursday morning at 11a.m. I will be addressing Ginther's campaign ads and other issues. It would be great to have supporters show up. It will be held in Linden. I will announce the exact location later today.

We are still in need of volunteers for early voting and at various polling locations on election day. Visit the Support Us page for details.

Election night festivities will be held at the Clintonville Woman's Club, 3951 North High Street from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. It is located next to (north of) the Whetstone Community Center. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the building. We need someone who would be willing to provide a lap top and a TV screen.

Thank You!

Joe
